2024 Vision Dinner

This is My Story

Tuesday, May 7 | 5:00 – 7:15 p.m. | Timberline Church | 2908 S Timberline Rd., Fort Collins, CO 80525

Family of 3 playing on the ground

For more than 16 years, Finally Home has been equipping foster, adoptive, and kinship families to create healthy homes. The stories from the families we serve are what keep us going. Now it’s time for you to hear their stories as well.

Join us at Timberline Church for a night filled with stories told by our Finally Home families as they are interviewed by author, storyteller, and popular speaker, Pastor Dick Foth.

Throughout the night we will share the incredible stories of three families that have been impacted by the programs and direct support Finally Home offers. You’ll hear from:

  • A teen who is part of our Solid Rocks Students program.
  • A family that has been sustained by mental health support through our Revive & Thrive Family Support Initiative.
  • A young adult who has experienced first hand the power of whole family support as a child and now an adult.

Each table will also have a foster, adoptive, or kinship parent or guardian as your table host. This will be an opportunity to ask questions about their experiences as well as learn about the challenges and celebrations that foster, adoptive, and kinship families experience.

Meet Pastor Dick Foth

Friends who really know me say I’m “curious.” I love that! Because the questions born out of curiosity have led to two things: friends and adventure.

The friendship adventure with my wife, Ruth, has taken us beyond our imaginings. We never really imagined 60 years with four kids, twelve grandkids and four great-grandkids.

Who knew we’d travel around the world and settle in homes from the prairies of Illinois to coastal California and from Washington D.C. to the Rocky Mountains? And, call us to the pulpit and academia and life-coaching and speaking and writing?

I think One person knew. As a kid in India, I was introduced to Jesus of Nazareth and gave all of my seven-year-old self to all I could grasp of Him.

That’s the Grand Adventure. And, it’s still in play!

Dick Foth
