Volunteer

Volunteers provide valuable support to Finally Home, and we couldn’t do the work we do without them. Throughout the year there are a variety of opportunities to serve, whether you’re an individual or an organization looking for group options.

This page is updated as opportunities arise, so please visit regularly. We will also mention these volunteer opportunities in our email newsletters. If you’re looking for something specific or have questions, please reach out to us via email.

Important Notes:

  • Some volunteer opportunities include engagement with children under the age of 18 and therefore require background checks and/or specialized training.
  • All volunteer opportunities are available to (a) adults and (b) youth over the age of 14 if they’re volunteering with a parent/guardian

Solid Rock Students

Our Solid Rock Students group meets 4-6 times a year. We host events for foster, adoptive, and kinship youth who are in middle school or high school. We need volunteers to help make these events happen. As a leader, you help by connecting with students, providing an extra set of eyes to ensure the safety of our group and most of all make these events FUN. The events consist of a service project, a small group discussion, a meal and a fun event (like a baseball game, rock climbing, etc).
