Who We Are

our mission

Equipping churches to strengthen foster, kinship and adoptive families.

Our sole mission is to equip foster, adoptive and kinship families to build healthy homes where kids can heal. Finally Home believes that genuine faith includes caring for those without families (James 1:27). Many families have stepped up to this calling, and they need support and encouragement. Even with the best of intentions, families can experience severe discouragement in the face of children’s behaviors that go far beyond their expertise or expectations. A family in crisis will often feel isolated in the midst of their suffering.

Since 2008, Finally Home has been equipping foster, adoptive and kinship families to build healthy homes where kids can heal. The Finally Home Family Strengthening Program is comprised of SuperHero Academy Resiliency Training for children, FH Titans Life Skills for youth, and *Survival Skills for Healthy Foster, Adoptive and Kinship Families for adults.

our Statement of Faith

We believe in the teachings of Jesus and his apostles, and that the canon of Scripture is God-breathed. Our faith is demonstrated through the way we serve and love.

Families of all faiths or no faith are welcome at Finally Home. Our curriculum does not incorporate Biblical or religious teachings. It is research-based relationship and life skills training.

Volunteers are not required to be church members of the Champion Church but for reasons of accountability, the Event Director must be a member of the Champion Church and accountable to the Pastoral Team and Finally Home.

Champion Churches actively work with an ecumenical and multi-denominational church network that varies widely in traditions or denomination but is unified in affirming standard Christian faith as outlined in the Finally Home Faith Statement.

our team

The Finally Home team is dedicated to making an impact on the lives of foster, kinship and adoptive families.
